Campfire Critters Animal Sanctuary (CCAS), located at Willowdale Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue dedicated to providing a loving, forever home to animals in need.

Campfire Critters Animal Sanctuary

Campfire Critters started at a campground in Hayes, VA in 2016 when the campground began adopting barnyard animals in need of a new home. As the herd grew over the years, the decision was made to create a dedicated organization for the animals. CCAS achieved non-profit status in 2020 and relocated to Willowdale Farm in Fredericksburg in June of 2021.

The move allowed for a massive expansion going from about 10 acres to over 100 acres of fenced pastures.

This gave current CCAS residents more space and allowed the CCAS team to continue their mission, taking in 49 more animals in just 10 months.
