Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, uniting the Central Rappahannock Region in their commitment to fight hunger

Hunger. One small word that affects many people in our local community, from the youngest to the elderly. Parents who lost their jobs or are working in jobs with low wages struggle to put food on the table for their children. Seniors on a fixed income make decisions about whether to buy food or pay for necessary prescription medications. People in need face these types of decisions every day and the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank is here to help.

Since 1982, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank (FRFB) has served Planning District 16, which includes the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline, the City of Fredericksburg, and Locust Grove.

The FRFB secures and distributes more than 7.1 million pounds of donated food and grocery products annually while providing support for more than 150 community partners that are operating over 260 food assistance programs to feed families, children, and seniors in need.
