R2H - Return 2 Home Lost Pet Resources helps to reunite lost pets with their families.

In less than 2 years, Melissa and Laura have helped to reunite over 150 lost dogs and cats.

“Poppy is our latest capture. She got out of her fenced back yard, and crossed a busy road. Sadly, she was hit while crossing and suffered a broken leg. Although there were sightings in 1 neighborhood nearby, she ran whenever anyone so much as looked at her. Melissa and Laura's experience told them that she was likely staying in the woods nearby, and deployed cellular trail cameras and food. It was 16 days before Poppy showed up on camera! Fresh food was immediately put out, and Poppy returned within a couple of hours. A trap was set, and she was captured the next afternoon. Enough time had passed that Poppy's leg was so badly broken and infected that the leg had to be amputated. But, we are happy to report that she is now out of the hospital and home, and is recovering beautifully!”

Their mission is to safely trap elusive pet dogs and cats, as well as stray dogs.

They provide guidance to pet owners and the public on how to safely locate and settle the animal for trapping, including how to make a proper Lost Pet poster, when to involve a tracker, and how to properly use scent articles. They also offer other resources necessary to aid in the safe containment of the animal until reunited.
